Tamburreddhi Salentini / Salentinian Frame Drums

I Tamburi tipici della musica e cultura popolare salentina. Questi strumenti sono una produzione realizzata studiando le forme e i materiali dei Tamburreddhi Salentini antichi, riproponendo, grazie ad un lavoro congiunto con Claudio “Cavallo” Giagnotti, l’autenticità dello strumento principe della nostra terra, cui abbiamo poi aggiunto alcuni modelli che innovano nel rispetto della tradizione.

The typical frame drums of the Salentinian popular music and tradition. These are instruments realised through the study of forms and materials of ancient Tamburreddhi Salentini, and then reproposing, thanks to a work with Claudio “Cavallo” Giagnotti, the authenticity of the most important musical insturment of our land. To them, here, we have added a few instruments that innovate while respecting the tradition.
